Ilocos Adventure Day 2: Vigan

On our second day in Ilocos, we went in Vigan. It’s a 2 hour drive from Laoag. Our first destination was Syquia Mansion. Like in Laoag, there were many museum and mansions in Vigan. If you are a fan of Philippine History you will appreciate all the museum and mansions there. You will see the Burgos Museum and Crisologo Meseum.

Our next destination is Baluarte in Chavit. It’s a free admission. You will see different kinds of animals like peacock, ostrich, tiger, parrot, horse…etc.

 We also went in pottery making. I was amazed when I saw how they made this pots. They have incredible hands.
 

My favorite place in Vigan is the famous Calle Crisologo. It’s like the old street in Spain because of the different old house in Calle Crisologo.

When you’re in Vigan, don’t forget to try the Irene’s Empanada. It’s super delicious compared to Laoag's empanada.
